4 For Others is designed to be a fun event for people of all ages and of all fitness levels. There are three runs to choose from:

• 4-mile race on an officially-timed, US Track and Field certified course
• 1.4-mile fun run/walk
• 1/4-mile kid run (Free; pre-registration not required.)

4 for Others will start at Lawrence Free Methodist Church, 3001 Lawrence Avenue, in Lawrence, KS, in the parking lot on the west side of the building.

If you use the printed registration form, send your form and payment to Lawrence Free Methodist Church, ATTN:4ForOthers, 3001 Lawrence Avenue, Lawrence, KS 66047. To receive the early-registration discount, be sure your form is postmarked by May 24. All other mailed registrations must be postmarked by June 3. Make checks payable to Lawrence Free Methodist Church, and write "4 For Others" in the memo line.

LINK has been in existence since 1985 providing nutritious home-cooked meals to families and individuals in our community at no cost to them and with no questions asked. A growing number of families with young children are coming to LINK. LINK has no regular funding sources so they depend on the generous donations of individuals, churches, organizations and businesses in our community.

International: Pioneers www.pioneers.org

Kelly and Darrin Monroe have attended the Lawrence Free Methodist Church for many years. In recent years, they’ve felt God calling them to be
cross-cultural missionaries and have taken many steps to confirm that call. In January 2013 they accepted a position with Pioneers, a mission agency that mobilizes teams to glorify God among people groups around the world who haven’t heard of Jesus. They partner with local churches to plant new churches in those areas. Your participation in this race will help the Monroes get abroad so they can do what God has called them to do.

Courses

The 4-mile and 1.4-mile runs will follow a path through beautiful wooded areas and a quiet neighborhood.

Registration Categories

4-mile race: $25 by May 24, $35 after May 24
1.4-mile fun run/walk: $12
1/4-mile kid run: Free. (T-shirt and pancake feed available for kids for $8.)

Registration & T-shirts

All 4-mile and 1.4-mile participants must be registered and will receive a t-shirt and a pancake breakfast. Registrations are not transferable and cannot be reimbursed. Online registration will end on Wednesday, June 5. T-shirts are not guaranteed with any registrations after May 24.In the event of inclement weather, refunds will not be made but t-shirts may be picked up at Lawrence Free Methodist Church during weekday office hours through June 14.

Awards

Adidas™ shoes will be awarded to overall male and female winners and male and female masters winners in the 4 mile race. Top finishers in ten-year age groups of the 4 mile race will also receive awards. Finishers in the 1.4 fun run/walk will receive a ribbon.

Kid Run

Pre-registration isn't required and run is free but a race shirt and breakfast is available for $8. Ribbons will be given to all participants.

Results for the 4-Mile Race

Results for the 4-mile race will be posted on lfmchurch.org/4forothers, runlawrence.org, mararunning.org, and sunflowerstriders.org for those who register by 7:15 a.m.

Pancakes & Sausage for Everyone

A pancake breakfast by Chris Cakes is included in the cost of registration for all 4-mile and 1.4-mile registrants and for ¼ mile registrants who buy a shirt. Others may purchase breakfast. The profit from the pancake feed will be donated toward the causes this race sponsors.

• Saturday, June 8:
• 6:30-7:15a.m. - Registration & Packet pick-up
• 7:30a.m. - 4-mile and 1.4-mile Fun Run/Walk start
• 7:30a.m. - Pancake Feed starts
• Kid Run and Awards for the 4 mile race will take place after the races end.

4-Mile Course Map

Start in the church parking lot. Run west to 27th &
Bluestem. Turn around and go east. Race ends a little east
of Kasold and 31st Street.
