Adult Ministries

Jesus said to "go and make disciples". The mission of the Lawrence Free Methodist Church is to be a Christ-centered church making more and better disciples. The Word of God and personal relationships with others who desire to grow spiritually are key to one's spiritual development. It is our desire to encourage and equip individuals to walk with God and to mature in Christ-like character, as reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ. We provide a variety of venues to connect people with similar interests, with an aim of knowing Christ, and making Him known.
Larry Baldridge, Pastor of Discipleship

We at the Lawrence Free Methodist Church believe that Jesus the good Shepherd who came to earth to give us not just life, but an abundant life. Many adults come to the church looking for that abundant life because they have experienced some difficulty in their life, whether it be a loss of a relationship, their health, a job, or a bad habit, and they come believing that Jesus and his followers can help them in finding that abundant life. Because we all can experience pain in our life, our church provides a variety of programs to assist adults with the challenges of life. We offer support groups for those who grieve a loss do to death or divorce, who struggle with an addiction, or want to strengthen a marriage. It is our desire to come along side and help people find wholeness in their lives.
