FX: the Family eXperience

Where kids bring their parents to learn

FX is a fast, zany, 60-minute multimedia, kid-focused, parent-centered, virtue-driven extravaganza. This shared experience helps parents help their kids grow in faith and character as it reinforces the virtues kids are learning at church.

FX Q&A

Q: What's the purpose of FX?
A: It’s a place where kid and parents can experience church together in a fun way and get tools for talking about the things that matter most in life at home.

Q: Can we invite other people to FX?
A: YES! FX is church like families have never experienced church before. It’s the perfect event for families who have just starting thinking about trying out church.

Q: Do kids need to attend Discovery Unlimited for FX to make sense?
A: No. Each FX show stands on its own but for the kids who attend DU on Sundays, FX is an excellent reinforcement of what they are learning in DU.

Q: Why is FX in the FLC and not the Galaxy?
A: Because we hope to have hundreds of people there and they won’t all fit in the Galaxy.

Q: How long will this FX last?
A: An hour.

Q: What do I do with my younger children during FX?
A: Nursery and preschool rooms will be open. Four-year-olds might enjoy the show so parents can decide if they’d like to leave them in the Jungle or bring them to FX.

Q: Our family loves FX. How often will it happen?
A: Uhmmm…. we haven’t figured that out yet. We’ll keep you posted.
