MOPS meetings
Our meetings take place on the first and third Tuesday morning each month, September to May, at Lawrence Free Methodist Church (directions here).
MOPS moms enjoy a morning of Christian fellowship, guidance and support that begins with a hot breakfast and devotional. Inspirational speakers and small-group discussions provide moms an opportunity for personal growth and encouragement. Occasional craft sessions, service projects and a variety of other activities make for a worthwhile, exciting experience that busy moms look forward to twice a month.
While MOPS moms enjoy each other’s company, their children gather down the hall. The MOPPETS program includes arts and crafts, toys, snacks, gross motor activities, music, stories and social play. Serving children from birth through kindergarten, MOPPETS caregivers provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that kids look forward to visiting.
MOPS and MOPPETS also participate in fellowship activities outside regular meetings. Playgroups, Bible studies, Moms Night Outs and excursions to area parks and attractions provide additional companionship opportunities for moms and their children.
