Hey MEN!  MAN CAMP is right around the corner, and it’s time for you to get registered!  This year’s event will be February 5-6.  Please mark those dates on your calendar! The cost will be $30 per man which includes a catered brisket or chicken dinner.  We will be meeting Friday evening for dinner and a program and then continue on Saturday morning with a continental breakfast, ending by 11:45 a.m.

Music will be by Doug Heacock and the LFMC Praise Band.  Rick Snodgrass will be returning as the main speaker.  Rick is a close friend of Pastor Bill, and his sharing last year had a great impact on many lives!  Pastor Bill writes, “Rick is a gifted communicator who will speak to us in a very personal and vulnerable way.  He, like the rest of us, has areas of struggle in his life and times of difficulty that he must make his way through.  He does not hide those realities–but rather, he speaks of how God works in his life during those times.”  In Rick’s own words, “I am ruthlessly committed to authenticity and speaking to men out of all areas of my life experience, especially the tough ones.”

Join us the weekend of February 5-6 at MAN CAMP!  The content will be challenging, practical, and fitting for all men.  It’s also a great way to connect with other men from our church and community and to build some lasting friendships for encouragement and spiritual growth.  During MAN CAMP we will be launching some opportunities in a new Ministry-To-Men called “Journeymen” that will help us throughout 2010 to walk together in Christ wherever we are in our faith journey.  This is a Ministry-To-Men bring event–an unintimidating environment designed for you to bring a friend, neighbor, or co-worker to be around other men to hear a clear message of hope and encouragement for their lives.  Be thinking and praying about at least one man you can invite and bring this year!  One man CAN make a difference!
