Still messing with this site

If you check this site periodically, you'll notice that the layout changes from time to time. Early on I mentioned that it was an experiment, and that experiment continues, as I try different arrangements of the content and menus and such. I hope this isn't too disconcerting for anyone (I doubt that it is), and I hope that sometime over the summer I'll arrive at a more-or-less stable layout. Along the way I may be testing different layout themes--color schemes, fonts, content arrangements, etc. Don't be surprised if the look changes every now and then for a while.

I hope you'll check in from time to time, log in, and browse around. I'll be adding content, updating the events calendar, and gradually moving more and more of the functionality of the other Praise Band Web page to this site. My intention is to eventually drop the other site entirely and use this as the main Praise Band site.

If you have suggestions for content or functionality, or if you've seen a site somewhere that you feel would be good for us to link to from this site, be sure to let me know, either via e-mail or by entering a comment.

The most recent new stuff includes the "Browse archives" calendar on the right sidebar, which you can use to find previous blog entries, and the "Events" calendar at the top of the right sidebar, which contains events of interest to the Praise Band--just click on the bold dates to see what's going on.

One thing I don't think I've ever made entirely clear--the blog posts that are displayed on the main page are usually truncated. If you see a "read more" link at the bottom of a post, it means the post is longer than what is shown, so be sure to click "read more" to read the whole thing.

I hope you find this page useful as we continue to work together to figure out this whole worship thing!
